About the role
Join LotusFlare as Intermediate Product Manager: shape the demo platform, lead a team of four engineers, and turn market insights into experiments that power global telecom.
You will own the platform that helps our sales and marketing teams bring LotusFlare to life for CSPs, showing what our technology can do in the context of each customer's business.
It is also a place to build and try new ideas that are not yet part of the core product, so we can learn what excites the market before we commit to them.
You will report to the director of product and lead a team of four engineers.
What you would do
Discovery and roadmap
You turn what sales and marketing need into a prioritized roadmap and tickets the engineers can build from.
* Talk regularly with sales, pre-sales and marketing to learn demo pain points, upcoming client needs and conference plans.
* Balance two kinds of demos: live sales-call demos tailored to a specific CSP, and booth demos that must run reliably and with little supervision.
* Check each demo request against current DNO capabilities and decide what belongs on the platform roadmap, what is a one-off, and what is a request to the core product team. Write clear requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.
* Create the demo process, user guides and training that drive adoption by non-technical users.
Experimental features
You run the part of the platform where we develop and host features that are not yet part of the core product, and test them before they reach it.
* Set up how experiments are proposed, selected and scoped, and keep them small enough to ship quickly.
* Define up front what each experiment must show, such as client reaction in demos, conference interest or sales feedback.
* Decide, with the evidence, whether an experiment graduates to the core product roadmap, continues, or is retired.
* Hand graduating features to the core product team with the context they need.
* Keep experiments clearly labeled so sales never presents an unreleased feature as available.
