Terms of use
What you agree to when you use Talento, and what Talento does and does not promise in return.
Last updated 8 September 2026
Who this is between
These terms are between you and [CONTROLLER — registered legal entity and address]. They are governed by the laws of [GOVERNING LAW], and disputes go to the courts of [JURISDICTION].
Accounts
You can create a candidate account yourself. Employer and administrator accounts are created for you by an administrator — there is no way to grant yourself either, and attempting to is a breach of these terms.
Keep your password to yourself, use an address you control, and tell us if you think someone else is in your account. You are responsible for what happens under it.
What you upload
You keep ownership of your CV and everything else you upload. You give us permission to store it and process it for the purpose of running the service — extracting a profile, matching you to roles, and generating documents you ask for. Nothing more.
Upload only what is yours to upload. Do not upload someone else’s CV, personal details about other people beyond ordinary references, or anything you do not have the right to share.
What the matching is, and is not
Talento ranks roles against your profile using a language model and shows you a reason for each. That ranking is a suggestion. It can be wrong, it can miss a role you would have wanted, and a high score is not an indication that you will be interviewed or hired.
Cover letters are drafts. They are generated from your profile and the posting, and they can contain mistakes — read anything before you send it, because it goes out under your name and not ours.
Job postings come from employers
Postings are collected from employers’ own careers pages. We do not write them, verify them, or vouch for the employer. A posting may be filled, withdrawn or changed after we collected it, and applying happens on the employer’s site under their terms, not ours.
Talento is not an employment agency and is not a party to anything between you and an employer.
For employers
If you have an employer account, you may look at candidate profiles for the purpose of recruiting. You may not extract profiles in bulk, build your own database from them, use them for anything other than recruiting, or pass them to anyone else.
Candidate profiles are other people’s personal data, and your own obligations as a controller of that data do not stop at our boundary.
Things you must not do
Do not scrape the service, work around its access controls, probe other people’s records, automate account creation, or attempt to interfere with how it runs for anyone else.
What is not promised
The service is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be available without interruption, that postings are accurate or current, that matches are correct, or that using it leads to a job.
To the extent the law allows, liability is limited to [LIABILITY CAP — confirm with counsel]. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death, personal injury, or fraud.
Ending it
You can delete your account whenever you like. We can suspend or close an account that breaches these terms. Deletion is covered by the Privacy page.
Changes
If these terms change materially, the date at the top changes and you will be told before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new version.
