Senior Pre-Sales Systems Engineer

Everpure is a data platform and storage technology leader seeking a Senior Pre-Sales Systems Engineer for the SLED (State, Local, Education) segment. In this role, you will be a technical expert during the sales process, understanding customer challenges and tailoring Everpure storage solutions to meet their specific needs while collaborating closely with the sales team.

* Develop comprehensive understanding of customer business drivers and decision-making factors * Connect technology solutions including Everpure portfolio and ecosystem offerings to measurable customer business outcomes * Partner with account managers, specialists, and channel partners to create seamless customer experience and drive revenue growth * Lead technical evaluations, benchmarks, and system configurations for storage solutions * Build and deliver technical product and architecture presentations to customers and prospects * Capture customer requirements and translate business needs into innovative solutions for distributed storage, file systems, and competitive storage offerings in DAS, NAS, and SAN spaces * Author responses to RFI and RFP documents * Stay current with competitive landscape and market trends to support thought leadership

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent technical experience * 8 or more years of relevant experience in technology, design, and communications * Pre-sales experience required * Previous experience with Linux, NFS file systems, and Linux distributed network environments * Deep understanding of multi-tiered client/server and web-based computing solution architecture, design, and implementation * Strong knowledge of storage architectures including FC, iSCSI, NAS, OSD, and SAN * Knowledge of VMware, Local Area Networking, Ethernet, TCP/IP, and general networking * Superior verbal and written interpersonal skills

* Experience supporting enterprise storage, networking, systems, cloud, or software sales to enterprise accounts * Familiarity with modern web architecture including LAMP stack, scale-out vs scale-up architectures, AWS Well-Architected Framework, and microservices architecture * Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP * Familiarity with containers, Kubernetes, and microservices architectures * Knowledge of digital transformation to Cloud Native architecture, On-Premises, Public Cloud, Provisioning Automation, and Containers * Familiarity with storage-intensive applications and requirements such as structured databases (SQL, Oracle)
