Field Services Tech

AccessParks is seeking a W-9 salary employee for a Field Operations Tech role in Houston, TX. We're seeking someone to fill the role listed below. This position must be based in the Houston, TX area. AccessParks has locations in the Houston area that require general maintenance and repair as required. The following are some of the basic expectations to fill this position.

Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

1. Position is Field Technician – Access Parks. Experienced Field Technician specializing in deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting network infrastructure across RV Parks and Manufactured Housing Communities (MHC) or similar-type networks. This position is outdoor work in all types of weather with daily travel to locations throughout the workday.

2. Skilled in routers, switches, RF, PTP, wireless access points, and FTTH. This position also performs the duty of supporting home connections as required

3. Experienced in using a lift for pole-related field tasks, including working around utility/network poles, aerial infrastructure, equipment mounting, cable routing, inspections, and troubleshooting.

4. Skilled in performing pole-to-pole network infrastructure work, equipment installation, maintenance, and service restoration. Experienced in maintaining reliable, high-performance internet services across multiple locations

.5. Background in operational multi-location Network management.

6. Focused on operational efficiency, cost control, service quality, and customer satisfaction. Hospitality-focused with a strong commitment to providing reliable service and positive customer experiences for FTTH work.

7. Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple service requirements effectively.

8. Experienced in maintaining network equipment and ensuring proper system performance and reliability, working with NOC and Engineering Personnel.

9. Consistently execute software updates, preventive maintenance (PM), inspections, and equipment checks.

10. Focused on reducing service interruptions, improving network reliability, and supporting strong operational and business results.
