DevOps Engineer

A leading cloud infrastructure company seeks a DevOps Engineer to manage and scale AWS infrastructure in a Linux-based environment. This role bridges DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering, requiring expertise in cloud infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipeline design, observability, and backend systems development.

* Manage and scale cloud infrastructure on AWS in a Linux-based environment, partnering with development and cross-functional teams on environment setup, build/deployment troubleshooting, and CI/CD optimization * Develop backend systems using TypeScript, Java, Python, Node.js, and SQL-based RDBMS (PostgreSQL, MySQL) with AWS CDK * Design and implement Infrastructure as Code using AWS CloudFormation and AWS CDK (TypeScript) to automate cloud infrastructure * Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline and GitHub Actions for frequent and reliable software delivery * Implement observability and monitoring solutions using Datadog, New Relic, or equivalent to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and system anomalies * Apply Site Reliability Engineering practices to ensure high availability, scalability, performance, and incident response across production environments * Debug and troubleshoot issues across application layers, operating systems, and cloud infrastructure components

* 6+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or similar role with deep expertise in managing and scaling cloud infrastructure on AWS in a Linux-based environment * 3+ years of backend development experience with strong proficiency in TypeScript, Java, Python, Node.js, and SQL-based RDBMS (PostgreSQL, MySQL) * Proven experience in infrastructure automation and Infrastructure as Code using CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, or similar technologies * Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI) supporting frequent, reliable software delivery * Proficiency in observability and monitoring tools such as Datadog, New Relic, or equivalent with ability to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks * Demonstrated success in SRE practices: high availability, scalability, performance, and incident response across production environments * Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills across application layers, operating systems, and cloud infrastructure components * Excellent collaboration and communication skills with ability to partner with engineering, product, and support teams
