About the role
We are seeking a high-caliber Director of Business Operations to act as an operational leader for our organization. In this role, you will bridge high-level strategy and day-to-day execution, ensuring our business engine runs efficiently, scales seamlessly, and hits strategic objectives.
You will work closely with the COO, as well as operational and service leaders, to diagnose organizational friction, build and refine cross-functional workflows, lead high-stakes strategic initiatives, and track performance across operational units. This role is also responsible for leading the Fulfillment and Office operations. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver, a skilled systems thinker, and an influential cross-functional leader.
What you would do
* Partner with managers to translate overarching company strategy into actionable operational roadmaps and OKRs/KPIs.
* Assist with facilitation and production of materials for key executive cadences (e.g., quarterly QBRs, operational reviews, leadership strategy syncs) to maintain organizational focus and accountability.
* Audit, design, and continuously improve core business processes to eliminate bottlenecks and optimize operational efficiency.
* Implement tools, technology, and repeatable operational frameworks that enable scalable growth without proportional overhead costs.
* Help put into action high-priority, cross-functional initiatives that span multiple departments.
* Serve as an internal consultant and problem-solver for complex challenges that lack a single functional home.
* Build and maintain operational dashboards to monitor real-time business health, unit economics, and department performance.
* Conduct deep-dive data analyses to surface operational risks and capacity constraints,, delivering actionable insights.
* Partner with FP&A and People teams to align headcount planning, budget distribution, and resource allocations with strategic growth targets.
* Help optimize team capacity and vendor relationships to maximize ROI on operational spend.
* Lead the Fulfillment and Office operations for the company, including management of the team members in these functions.
What You Bring
* 8+ years of professional experience, with 4+ years in Business Operations, Management Consulting, Corporate Strategy, or Chief of Staff roles within a high-growth environment.
* Bachelor’s Degree, MBA preferred.
* Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and driving enterprise-wide change without direct authority.
* Exceptional quantitative modeling skills; ability to derive clear, actionable business insights from complex data sets (proficient with BI tools, SQL, advanced Excel/Google Sheets).
* Demonstrated capability in designing, documenting, and implementing operational processes from the ground up.
* Outstanding verbal and written executive communication skills; comfortable presenting recommendations to C-level executives and board members.
