The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience operating and setting up 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC machines, with strong technical knowledge of various machine controls and precision measurement techniques. This role requires expertise in working with aerospace-grade materials and maintaining strict quality standards in a high-precision manufacturing environment. Required - Proven experience in CNC VMC and HMC milling machine operation and setup - Hands-on experience with 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis milling machines - Proficiency in part prove out on multi-axis milling and HMC machines - Working knowledge of Fanuc, Siemens, and Okuma CNC controls - Basic CNC programming skills in Fanuc, Siemens, or Okuma platforms - Expertise in selecting cutting tools and parameters for aerospace materials - Strong proficiency in GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) - Experience using precision measuring tools and inspection equipment - Ability to interpret and analyze CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) reports - Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills for shop floor problem resolution - Ability to identify defects and make necessary machine adjustments to maintain quality standards Nice to Have - Experience in aerospace manufacturing environment - Certification in CNC machining or related technical qualification - Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles - Experience with CAM software - Familiarity with AS9100 quality standards - Experience training or mentoring junior operators - Knowledge of advanced cutting tool technologies and coatings
