Reliance Intelligence is seeking an AI/ML Engineer specializing in Conversational AI to contribute to the development of JioFrames AI, India's first AI-powered smart eyewear. The role involves building and deploying machine learning models for various features, including object detection, gesture recognition, and health sensing. Candidates will optimize these models for wearable devices, ensuring they meet strict power and memory constraints. Additionally, the position requires developing real-time inference pipelines and fine-tuning natural language processing models for tasks like intent recognition and command parsing. Experience with integrating large language model capabilities for the JioAI assistant is also essential. Applicants should have 4 to 10 years of hands-on experience in ML/AI engineering, particularly with production deployments. Proficiency in frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow, along with knowledge of on-device inference runtimes, is necessary. A solid background in computer vision and experience with NLP or multimodal AI are also required. The job is based in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, and is suitable for those looking to work at the intersection of hardware and AI in a consumer-focused environment.
