What you would do

We are seeking an Automation & AI Agentic Engineer to design, build, and support a hybrid automation portfolio that spans traditional RPA and next-generation agentic AI solutions. The ideal candidate is hands-on across Microsoft Copilot / Copilot Studio, Agent Core, Power Automate, and UiPath (including UiPath Agentic Automation/Agentic Orchestration) evaluate which platform and approach - rule-based bot, low-code flow, or autonomous AI agent - best fits a given business process.

Automation & AI Agentic Engineer (Intelligent Automation Developer)

You'll have opportunity to:

* Design, develop, test, and deploy automation solutions using UiPath and Microsoft Power Automate, following CoE development standards and reusable component libraries. * Build and orchestrate AI agents using Agent Core, UiPath Agentic Automation (agentic orchestration, agent-to-agent/human-in-the-loop workflows), and Microsoft Copilot Studio for goal-driven, autonomous or semi-autonomous process automation. * Use GitHub Copilot (chat, inline completion, agent mode) to accelerate development, code review, and testing across automation and supporting application code. * Assess incoming automation requests and recommend the right-fit solution (deterministic RPA bot vs. low-code Power Platform flow vs. AI agent vs. hybrid) based on process complexity, data variability, and exception handling needs. * Integrate automations with enterprise systems via APIs, databases, message queues, and connectors; manage credentials/secrets securely (vault integration, least-privilege access). * Implement AI components where required: document/IDP processing, LLM-based reasoning steps, prompt design, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) patterns for knowledge-grounded agents. * Apply governance, security, and responsible-AI practices: exception handling, logging/observability, human-in-the-loop checkpoints, data privacy, and bias/hallucination mitigation for agentic components. * Participate in solution design reviews (PDD/SDD), UAT, hypercare, and production support/incident triage for deployed bots and agents. * Maintain documentation for developed solutions, including agent decision logic, guardrails, and rollback/fallback procedures. * Collaborate with Solution Leads/Architects on scalability, CI/CD pipeline integration, and CoE standards adoption; mentor junior developers on both RPA and agentic development practices. * Stay current on platform releases (UiPath, Agent Core, Microsoft Power Platform/Copilot, GitHub Copilot) and recommend adoption of new capabilities.

What they are looking for

Experience: 4 to 7 total automation experience (RPA + AI agentic), or equivalent demonstrated skill for internal candidates transitioning from a traditional RPA Developer/Sr. Developer role.

Bachelor’s(Engineering)/Master’s in computer science or a related field.

* 3+ years of hands-on RPA development experience with UiPath (workflow design, exception handling, reusable components, and orchestrator administration). * Working experience with Microsoft Power Automate (cloud/desktop flows) and familiarity with the broader Power Platform (Power Apps, Dataverse, connectors). * Hands-on exposure to Agent Core, UiPath Agentic Automation, or comparable agentic/AI-agent orchestration capability (goal-driven agents, agent-to-agent workflows, autonomous decisioning). * Practical experience using GitHub Copilot (or similar AI coding assistant) in day-to-day development. * Understanding of GenAI/LLM fundamentals: prompt engineering, tokens/context windows, RAG concepts, and where AI agents outperform (or underperform) deterministic bots. * Proficiency with REST APIs, JSON/XML, SQL, and at least one scripting/programming language (Python, VB.NET, or C#). * Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for both rule-based and non-deterministic (AI agent) failure modes. * Excellent communication skills to translate business requirements into automation/agent solutions.

* UiPath Agentic Automation certification (Associate/Professional) or relevant Agent Core certification. * Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400) or Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate (PL-200). * GitHub Copilot certification or GitHub Agentic AI Developer certification. * Exposure to cloud AI platforms (Azure AI Foundry, AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex AI).
