4 to 8 years designing and shipping real products inside a cross-functional team. In-house, not agency-only.

SaaS background. You have designed software that businesses pay for and rely on every day. This is a requirement.

Web app design experience. You have designed complex, interactive web applications, not just websites, mobile screens, or brand work. This is a requirement.

AI-first, in both senses above. This is a requirement.

Strong UX for technical or enterprise products. You are comfortable when the subject matter is hard and the users know more than you do.

A portfolio that shows your thinking, not just your pixels. We want to see the problem, the messy middle, the decisions you made, and the result.

Fluent in the tools, Figma above all, plus whatever helps you prototype and test quickly.

A strong communicator. You can explain a design decision to an engineer, a PM, and a customer, and win each of them over on the merits.
