OSS Engineer

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing our OSS infrastructure to ensure seamless telecommunications network operations and service delivery. This role is critical in supporting our network operations center and ensuring high availability of our operational support systems. *\Key Responsibilities\* - Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot OSS platforms including fault management, performance management, and service assurance systems - Provide technical support for network operations teams and ensure OSS systems are functioning optimally - Perform system configurations, upgrades, and patches for OSS applications - Analyze network performance data and generate reports for operations and management teams - Collaborate with network engineering, IT, and vendor teams to resolve system issues and implement improvements - Develop and maintain documentation for OSS processes, procedures, and system configurations - Participate in incident management and root cause analysis activities - Support integration of new network elements and services into existing OSS platforms - Ensure compliance with ITIL processes and operational best practices *\Requirements\* - Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field - 3+ years of experience working with OSS platforms in a telecommunications or service provider environment - Strong understanding of telecommunications networks and protocols - Experience with OSS domains including fault management, configuration management, and performance monitoring - Proficiency in SQL and database management - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and documentation skills - Ability to work in shift rotations and provide on-call support when required *\Nice to Have\* - Experience with specific OSS vendors (Ericsson, Nokia, Huawei, etc.) - Knowledge of BSS (Business Support Systems) integration - Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Shell) - ITIL certification - Experience with cloud-based OSS solutions *\Benefits\* - Competitive salary package - Health and wellness benefits - Professional development and training opportunities - Career advancement potential in a growing telecommunications environment
