The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing custom machinery and equipment tailored to specific production requirements. This role involves creating detailed 3D models, technical drawings, and ensuring designs meet industry standards and client specifications. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative machinery solutions that enhance manufacturing efficiency and productivity. Required • Proven experience in designing Special Purpose Machinery • Proficiency in CAD software including SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, or AutoCAD • Strong knowledge in 3D modeling and drafting with Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, and Solid Edge • Good knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) • Strong project management skills to plan, organize, and execute design projects within specified timelines and budgets • Knowledge in FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities • Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations Nice to Have • Familiarity with automation and control systems • Experience with PLC programming or integration • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and production methods • Experience in designing machinery for specific industries (automotive, packaging, assembly, etc.) • Understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems • Exposure to lean manufacturing principles
