About the role

Accenture Federal Services seeks an Enterprise Cloud Architect to define architecture direction for secure, resilient cloud and infrastructure environments serving federal customers. This technical leadership role sets standards and designs that engineering teams build to, guides modernization and migration work, and advises stakeholders—without managing a team.

What you would do

* Define reference architectures and standards for cloud and infrastructure across AWS, Azure, hybrid, and Google Cloud * Design for availability, resiliency, scalability, and disaster recovery * Lead architecture for cloud migration and infrastructure modernization initiatives * Design to NIST, FedRAMP, and Zero Trust requirements, and lead security architecture reviews with cybersecurity teams * Run architecture reviews, define governance, and set architecture requirements for service management and operational readiness * Advise program and executive stakeholders and mentor engineers and junior architects

What they are looking for

* 7+ years of experience in cloud or infrastructure engineering and architecture, including 3+ years as an architect or senior technical lead * Deep design experience in AWS or Azure, with working knowledge of the other * Strong grounding in networking, compute, storage, virtualization, and Windows and Linux environments * Experience designing highly available, resilient architectures, including disaster recovery * Knowledge of NIST 800-53, FedRAMP, and ATO processes, plus identity and Zero Trust architecture * Understanding of infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and DevSecOps well enough to set standards and review designs * Working knowledge of ITIL and observability platforms * Ability to explain trade-offs clearly to executives and engineers * Active Top Secret clearance required

* AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Professional Cloud Architect certification * CISSP or equivalent, and ITIL certification * Experience in federal agencies or other highly regulated environments * Experience with data center consolidation or enterprise modernization programs * Familiarity with cloud cost management
