About the role

A proprietary trading and research firm is looking for skilled full-stack engineers to contribute to the development of user interfaces and services for critical financial applications. These applications include visual analytics platforms and data-driven tools used by traders, researchers, and analysts. As a part of the team, you will be involved in working on TypeScript front-ends and Go services that support them. The team is transitioning its applications into a modular, plugin-based platform that will be expanded upon by other engineers. You'll be responsible for creating reusable UI modules, component libraries, and SDKs, in addition to developing end-user features. Ownership of your work will be from structured product requirement documentation through to production. No specific trading or finance background is mandatory; the team prioritizes engineering expertise and offers training in the domain.

What You'll Be Doing:

* Collaborating with traders, researchers, and product managers to transform complex workflows into sophisticated UI solutions. * Designing and implementing high-performance, responsive front-end applications using current-generation TypeScript frameworks like Svelte, React, or Vue. * Building, operating, and designing Go back-end services with security and performance integrated into their design, overseeing service boundaries and data contracts end-to-end. * Constructing reusable UI components, libraries, and SDKs for a modular, plugin-based platform and connecting front-ends using typed SDKs and MCP-based interfaces. * Developing real-time UIs that process and display high-frequency market and on-chain data from various streaming sources using canvas-based charting and D3.js for unique views. * Guiding architecture and performance decisions for modular, extensible systems, maintaining automated testing and code review processes, and mentoring colleagues in best practices.

Key Requirements:

* 7+ years of hands-on experience in full-stack development with ownership of production on both the back-end and front-end. * Proficient in current TypeScript, HTML, and CSS along with a modern front-end framework such as Svelte, React, or Vue. * Strong Go experience capable of self-sufficiently designing, building, and operating production Go services. * Demonstrated ability in handling large datasets and real-time updates from back-end sources, constructing well-structured UI components and shared abstractions. * Sound understanding of performance optimization and rendering strategies in data-intensive applications, including the JavaScript runtime. * Thorough testing skills with unit and integration tests forming a standard part of the delivery process. * Excellent cross-functional communication skills along with experience with a major cloud platform and version control systems.

Desirable Skills:

* Background or keen interest in trading systems or financial platforms, possibly including prior experience in hedge funds or proprietary trading. * Experience with real-time, streaming, or on-chain/crypto market data. * Knowledge of MCP or other AI-native/agent integration principles. * Experience building developer platforms, SDKs, or shared component libraries. Familiarity with CI/CD, Docker, and observability tools such as Datadog, Grafana, or ELK.

we’re looking for a senior blockchain engineer to build low-latency execution infrastructure around hyperevm and hyperliquid-related trading systems.   this is not a frontend or dapp role. the focus is on real-time execution systems, chain-native infrastructure, and market-aware backend engineering where latency, ordering, and state correctness directly impact execution outcomes.   you will work on systems that operate under noisy, adversarial, and highly dynamic conditions, including delayed or missing websocket events, rpc inconsistencies, transaction lifecycle complexity, state desynchronization, retries, and recovery logic.   core responsibilities include building and maintaining realtime blockchain data pipelines, websocket and rpc streaming systems, execution orchestration layers, liquidity-aware routing logic, transaction lifecycle management, and integration with orderbook and market data systems.   we are specifically looking for engineers who think in systems rather than features. meaning understanding how data flows through pipelines, how state evolves over time, how failures propagate, and how to design systems that recover automatically without manual intervention.   areas of work include   - realtime blockchain data ingestion - mempool-aware execution flows - transaction lifecycle handling - execution sequencing and routing - websocket and rpc infrastructure - state synchronization systems - liquidity and orderbook integration - performance and latency optimization   you should be comfortable working with distributed systems, asynchronous event processing, and latency-sensitive backend architectures.   strong experience in one or more of the following areas is highly relevant:   - exchange infrastructure - trading systems - execution engines - blockchain indexers - realtime event systems - arbitrage systems - rpc/node infrastructure - defi backend systems - low-latency backend engineering   preferred technical stack   - typescript / node.js - go - rust - python - postgres - clickhouse - redis - kafka or similar messaging systems - docker - linux environments - evm rpc internals - websocket infrastructure   ecosystem familiarity   - ethereum, arbitrum, base, optimism, bsc - hyperliquid / hyperevm - foundry - ethers.js / viem - geth / erigon / nethermind - dex and amm mechanics - liquidity math, slippage, gas strategy, routing logic   this role is not suitable for   - frontend-only developers - nft or basic dapp experience only - tutorial-level web3 developers - candidates without production systems experience   we value engineers who have built real systems where correctness, latency, and reliability matter under load. we care less about buzzwords and more about concrete systems you have personally built and operated.   - Designing, developing, and implementing iOS applications for our Hackintosh platform - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features - Troubleshooting application bugs and implementing solutions - Ensuring the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications - Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies - Providing technical support and guidance to users as needed

Conduct detailed analysis of project budgets, forecasts, and expenditures, and suggest actions to handle variances.

Evaluate vendor proposals and select suppliers based on factors like cost, terms, timely delivery, and risk assessment.

Engage in negotiations to finalize commercial terms, obtaining necessary approvals.

Review contracts, change orders, and manage commercial risks and vendor-related matters.
