* Lead and coordinate a distributed team of frontend, backend, mobile, and DevOps engineers * Provide architectural guidance across all layers of the platform * Drive technical decision-making and ensure alignment with the client’s engineering guidelines and product roadmap * Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards and best practices * Serve as the primary technical point of contact between the delivery team and client stakeholders * Identify technical risks and proactively propose mitigation strategies * Facilitate sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives in collaboration with project management * Support cross-functional collaboration across frontend, backend, mobile, and infrastructure teams

* 8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience * 3+ years in a technical lead, staff engineer, or architect-level role leading cross-functional teams * Strong hands-on engineering experience in at least one primary domain: * Frontend engineering (React / Next.js) * Backend engineering (Node.js / Fastify) * Mobile engineering (React Native) * Working understanding of adjacent disciplines across frontend, backend, mobile, and cloud infrastructure environments * Familiarity with modern cloud infrastructure and deployment environments such as Kubernetes and Cloud Run. Hands-on DevOps expertise is not required, but candidates should understand the infrastructure supporting the applications they work on * Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across US time zones

* Exposure to technologies such as Elasticsearch, Redis / Valkey, and headless CMS platforms like Sanity * Prior experience in sports, media, or entertainment platforms * Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code * Familiarity with performance optimization and caching strategies at scale
