About the role
Texas Instruments is hiring Digital Design Engineers in Bengaluru for fresh bachelor’s degree holders from electrical and electronics streams. You will help design, model and verify the digital circuits that go inside TI chips, including processor, cache and memory systems. Day to day, expect spec discussions, design reviews, documentation, layout checks and prototype testing.

Why This TI Digital Design Engineer Job Stands Out
* Your first year is covered by CAP, which gives professional and technical training plus on-the-job learning from day one. * Besides digital design, you also get exposure to Design Verification and Analog Design through projects and formal learning. * The JD mentions work areas like a 64-bit DSP processor, a CPU simulator and vector processor ISA, so this is real core-chip work and not a support role.
What you would do
* Work with business teams and system engineers to agree on what the chip needs to do, so the design specs are clear for everyone. * Study chip architecture options and trade-offs, keeping performance, power and cost in balance. * Join design reviews and write the design and product documents the team needs. * Keep an eye on IC layouts so they meet the performance standard expected. * Test prototypes, prepare test specs and coordinate with test and product engineering teams to push the product towards release. * Build and drive behavioural models of the design.
