Job Responsibilities

* Overseeing the functioning of systematic trading activities, ensuring seamless operations, and enhancing the reliability and efficiency of trading systems. * Monitoring live trading systems including orders, positions, profits and losses, and risks. * Providing initial support for trading, execution, exchange connections, and production concerns. * Investigating and resolving order, position, profit and loss, reconciliation, and trading-system exceptions. * Collaborating with traders, quantitative developers, exchanges, brokers, and other parties to address live trading issues. * Supporting strategy deployments, system releases, testing, and operational modifications. * Tracking exchange and market events, outages, connectivity problems, and other operational risks. * Analyzing trading and operational metrics to detect issues and enhance processes. * Developing tools and automation for better monitoring, reconciliation, reporting, and trading operations. * Maintaining operational procedures and controls for production trading. * Participating in local trading coverage and rotating weekend coverage.

Monitor live trading systems, strategies, orders, positions, P&L, and risk.

Act as the first line of support for trading, execution, exchange connectivity, and production issues.

Contribute to system architecture design

Develop and deploy cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

Enhance and manage Terraform, Kubernetes (K8s), and CI/CD pipelines

Design and execute Disaster Recovery and backup solutions

Automate and optimize operations and workflows

Communicate effectively, escalate issues, and follow through to ensure timely problem resolution

* At least 3 years of background in electronic trading, trade support, trading operations, production support, or similar functions. * Sound grasp of electronic trading, order cycle, positions, profits and losses, and risk assessment. * Capable of effectively troubleshooting issues in a fast-paced production environment. * Proficient in Python or scripting; familiarity with SQL is advantageous. * Experience handling large trading or market datasets. * Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, or another quantitative discipline, or comparable experience.

* Prior experience supporting systematic, algorithmic, or market-making trading. * Knowledge of prediction markets, equities, crypto, futures, options, or other derivatives. * Familiarity with exchange APIs, FIX protocol, order book data, or real-time trading systems.
