Senior Integration Engineer

Legion is a workforce management platform company seeking a Senior Integration Engineer to design, develop, and maintain integration and automation solutions connecting their WFM platform with enterprise systems like HR, POS, and payroll. This is a hybrid/overnight shift role requiring leadership in technical integrations, customer consulting, and mentorship of junior engineers.

* Design and implement scalable integration architectures connecting Legion WFM with HR, POS, Payroll, and other enterprise systems using REST APIs and modern cloud platforms * Build and test integrations using Workato, ensuring secure and efficient enterprise-grade code * Collaborate with architects and engineers on design and conduct peer code reviews to maintain code quality * Mentor junior engineers, foster knowledge-sharing, and contribute to integration best practices and technical documentation * Maintain deep product expertise, identify and prioritize bugs/enhancements, and support production reliability and troubleshooting

* 7+ years of business/information/solution/technical architecture experience * Bachelor's or Master's degree in STEM field (Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant discipline) * 3+ years of experience with event-driven architecture and microservices * Deep technical expertise in integration technologies and protocols (HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, SFTP, SOAP, REST, JMS, JDBC) * Experience with Linux/Unix environments and demonstrated proficiency with Core Java * 2+ years of AWS technologies experience (AWS CDK, CloudFormation, S3, ECS, EKS, EC2) * Relational database expertise (Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server) with SQL and JDBC * Strong Java/RESTful web services experience and knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools * Test-driven development experience and problem-solving/root-cause analysis skills

* Workforce management integration experience * Experience designing and implementing scalable integration solutions with platforms such as Workato, SAP BTP Integration Suite, Dell Boomi, Jitterbit, or SnapLogic * Technical consulting experience * Docker and container isolation technologies experience * End-to-end external application integrations experience (Workday, SAP, etc.)
