About the role
Remote: yes Posted: 2026-09-16
WHAT WE DO
Rillet serves accounting and finance teams, the financial brains of their companies. Our job is to help them run the numbers with impossible speed, accuracy, and insight.
Rillet is the Agentic ERP built for modern finance teams. We help companies automate the most critical parts of finance, from closing the books and recognizing revenue to consolidating entities and reporting to investors. More than 600 companies run on Rillet, including Mercor, Scribe, and Function Health, and we partner with leading accounting firms including EY and KPMG.
We’re building in one of the largest software markets in the world, with the momentum to match. Rillet has raised more than $200M, is valued at $1B, and is backed by Sequoia, a16z, ICONIQ, Bain Capital Ventures, Oak HC/FT, and other leading investors. We’re using that backing to build the financial infrastructure for the next generation of companies and help every business run its numbers at the speed of AI.
What you would do
- Own a book of funds end to end. Open the conversation, multi-thread into operating and deal teams, and take each relationship from first touch through signed partnership and everything after.
- Drive portfolio penetration. Convert fund relationships into introductions, pipeline, and closed customers across their portfolio companies – not just logos or a slot on a preferred vendor list.
- Source & Influence opportunities. Work with investors to positively shape sales conversations when their portfolio companies come to Rillet, whether the partner made the introduction.
- Host & Represent Rillet. Design and execute roughly two high-quality events a month, plus conferences, that senior leaders look forward to – and pull real relationships and insight out of them.
- Build the infrastructure. Create repeatable go-to-market motions, enable the sales team to work productively with investor partners, and build the operating cadence that makes the channel scale.
- Identify and execute on strategic initiatives. Work with funds on longer-term bets and ancillary opportunities beyond near-term revenue generation.
- Raise the communication bar. Build exceptional pitches, partner materials, and outbound that earns a reply from people who delete most of their inbox.
- Lead across Rillet. Partner closely with every function to ensure your funds’ and their portcos’ interests
The expected base salary range for this role is $120,000–$160,000 in New York City and San Francisco. Final compensation within this range will depend on factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and the scope of the role. This role is also eligible for equity and benefits.
