What you would do
The selected candidate will support testing and configuration activities for Wipro’s TBA system.
1. Requirement analysis
The trainee reviews client requirement documents and preliminary test plans. The objective is to understand what the system should do and identify the conditions that require testing.
If a requirement is unclear, the trainee should ask questions instead of making assumptions.
2. Test case preparation
A test case describes a specific scenario, the steps to follow, and the expected result.
For example, a tester may check whether a system accepts valid employee benefit information, rejects incomplete data, and displays accurate results.
The trainee may help identify missing test scenarios and prepare test plans based on project requirements.
3. System configuration
The job includes configuring tables and parameters in the TBA system according to documented specifications.
This work requires accuracy because incorrect settings can affect system behaviour and produce unexpected results.
4. Test execution and defect reporting
The trainee executes test cases using appropriate test data and compares actual results with expected results.
When an issue appears, the trainee should document the problem, explain how to reproduce it, and share relevant evidence with the responsible team.
