Graduate Engineer

Arcadis is hiring a Graduate Engineer for its Bangalore, Karnataka location, offering an opportunity for Civil and Structural Engineering professionals to work on design, modelling and engineering projects. The role is especially relevant for candidates with a postgraduate qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering and 1–3 years of relevant structural design experience.

This Graduate Engineer position can give professionals exposure to structural engineering practices, design software, BIM coordination, international design standards and sustainable engineering.

* Working on straightforward engineering tasks under appropriate supervision. * Understanding and applying relevant codes and standards. * Performing simple design and modelling tasks. * Preparing sketches for communication with BIM teams and regional leads. * Supporting quality checks and verification of design submissions. * Working according to project programmes and timelines. * Paying attention to project budgets and Health & Safety requirements. * Maintaining a positive approach to workplace Health & Safety. * Considering environmental requirements and sustainable resource management. * Supporting design activities using appropriate engineering software.

* Post-Graduation in Civil or Structural Engineering. * 1–3 years of relevant experience in Structural Design. * Knowledge of structural engineering fundamentals and structural behaviour. * Knowledge of at least one structural engineering software application (STAAD, MIDAS, LUSAS, or ROBOT).
