London (Old Street)

Full-time

4 days/week in office

Why This Role

- You own Modulr’s voice and how we show day to day on owned and earned online channels, from a fast-moving LinkedIn trend in the morning to a considered pitch to an industry influencer in the afternoon.

- You work closely with and learn from the Head of PR and Communications and the wider marketing team, on fast-moving campaigns and projects that make a real impact to the business

- You get to build something genuinely new for us: how Modulr engages with brands and partners to help us improve AI visibility.

What you would do

Social Media Management

- Content Creation – Plan, write and schedule creative, platform-tailored content (copy, images, short-form video, and graphics) across channels including LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and X.

- Community Management – Monitor our channels, respond to comments and direct messages proactively, and foster healthy, active two-way conversations with our followers.

- Trend Tracking – Keep a pulse on cultural moments, trending audio, and industry news so we can join relevant online conversations, including reactive and newsjacking content.

- Scheduling & Calendars – Own and maintain the active social media content calendar.

Digital PR & Outreach

- Campaign Support – Help plan and execute end-to-end digital PR campaigns, including press releases, data-led studies, and reactive commentary.

- Media Relations – Build and maintain targeted media lists and pitch journalists, bloggers, and relevant trade publications, using databases such as Muck Rack or Roxhill.

- Influencer & Partner Collaboration – Liaise with micro-influencers, brand advocates, and partners to amplify campaigns and extend our reach.

- Coverage Monitoring – Track, clip and report on online brand mentions, features, and sentiment shifts.

Analytics & Reporting

- Performance Tracking – Monitor key metrics, including reach, engagement, referral traffic, and share of voice, using social and PR analytics tools.

What they are looking for

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in social media, digital PR/marketing, journalism, public relations, or a related field.

- An exceptional writer who can shift tone for the audience in front of you, from a snappy social caption to a professional media or influencer pitch.

- Strong experience with all the major social platforms, including LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, X, and YouTube, and how each one actually works.

- You are comfortable with social scheduling and analytics tools such as Hubsot, Hootsuite, or Sprout Social, and basic design tools such as Canva, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite. Familiarity with media monitoring tools like Meltwater or Cision is a plus.

- A working understanding of SEO, Google Analytics, and native social analytics.

- You are creative and quick-thinking, able to come up with fresh content fast and respond to online trends as they happen.

- Highly organised and can juggle multiple tasks, campaigns, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- You are a confident communicator who enjoys building relationships with media/influencer contacts and online communities.

- Relevant certifications such as CIM, CIPR, HubSpot, or Meta Blueprint are advantageous.
