Staff Software Engineer, Full Stack

We are looking for a hands-on Full Stack (Frontend Heavy) Staff Software Engineer to join our team and lead efforts in building scalable, performant, and reliable software systems that power the AlphaSense platform. You will play a key role in shaping technical architecture, mentoring engineers, and driving engineering excellence across teams. This is a high-impact role for an experienced engineer who thrives on solving complex problems and delivering robust, customer-focused solutions.

- Design and build high-quality, performant, and scalable software systems across backend and frontend.

- Own the technical architecture and reliability of backend services alongside frontend microapps.

- Lead technical design discussions, clarify requirements, and deliver effective and maintainable solutions.

- Take ownership of full-stack development projects, from backend APIs (Python/Java) to front-end integration.

- Serve as architectural glue across multiple domains.

- Apply best practices in DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud-native engineering to improve delivery efficiency.

- Mentor and coach engineers, raising the technical bar across the team.

- Collaborate with globally distributed teams and cross-functional stakeholders.

- Drive innovation by evaluating and adopting emerging technologies where relevant.

- Build and integrate intelligent features into the platform, leveraging LLMs, agents, and AI frameworks where they add user value.

- Partner with other teams to integrate and optimize intelligent features and workflows within the platform.
