The Woodland Trust is looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to support organisational insight and reporting activity. This is a key role in building a solid analytics platform across the business, including the design, creation, and implementation of insightful reporting.

* Engage and build relationships with stakeholders in all parts of the business to define and produce insightful, accurate and automated BI for internal and external use, ensuring insight is meaningful and used effectively

* Work with multiple data sources using SQL, NoSQL, and cloud-based technologies (e.g. Azure Data Lakes, Azure SQL Servers, TSQL, JSON)

* Backward engineer existing reporting to facilitate change, investigate data issues, and optimise performance

* Work with Data Engineering teams to specify requirements for analytical reporting layers

* Provide accurate, real-time data intelligence to drive business decision-making

* Support the wider Data Team by contributing ideas and observations on Data Strategy and tactical activities.

* Learn new BI technologies, keeping up to date with the reporting and data analytical technology landscape to drive insight innovation across the business.

* Agree deadlines and communicate progress effectively with end-users, stakeholders, and your line manager.
