About the role
Our client is seeking a senior IT Security Engineer to protect its cloud and network environments and to lead how the organization adopts AI safely. This role goes beyond using AI-powered security tools. You’ll build the guardrails, governance, and controls that balance the business’s growing use of AI against the risks it introduces. As a senior individual contributor on a small team, you’ll have real ownership and a direct impact on how the organization grows securely.
As part of our process after applying, you may receive an invitation from our AI Recruiter Avery for a short conversation that lets you share more about your background beyond your resume. For questions, contact recruiting@itccorp.com .

What Gets You the Job:
* 7-10 years of hands-on cybersecurity engineering experience with deep knowledge of cloud and network security * CISSP certification (required) * Proven experience at enterprise-scale organizations implementing AI security strategies, including governance, guardrails, and risk controls for AI adoption across the business * Strong background with security platforms such as CrowdStrike Falcon, Microsoft Sentinel, or Darktrace, plus system hardening using CIS benchmarks, STIGs, or USGCB * Excellent written communication and policy-writing skills, with the ability to serve as a technical resource for IT teams; security experience in financial services or healthcare is a plus
