Your Role at impact.com:

As a Database Administrator at impact.com, you will work with the latest technologies that enable near-real time processing of datasets in the Terabytes range and the exciting challenges that come with working with massive amounts of data. You will have the freedom to experiment with the latest technologies with the ultimate goal of scaling our systems linearly.

What you would do

- Administer and support multiple MySQL database clusters

- Administer and support sharded MySQL database clusters

- Manage database capacity and usage. Pro-active capacity planning.

- Query optimization

- Monitor and optimize database performance

- Develop backup and recovery procedures

- Essential Database administration - install, configure, upgrade, backup, partitioning and monitoring of MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB and Clickhouse database clusters

- ProxySQL administration

- Work with developers during application development life cycle in the design and planning of schema, tables, data types, indexes, procedures and functions
