About the role

GoDaddy is seeking a Director of AI Ecosystem Partnerships to build and scale the Agent Name Service (ANS) partner ecosystem, an emerging open standard for AI agent identity. This highly visible individual contributor role involves developing strategic partnerships with technology, telecommunications, security, and infrastructure companies to drive integration, proof of concept, and adoption of the ANS platform.

What you would do

* Own and advance the ANS partnership pipeline, converting strategic interest from priority partners into active integration programmes with defined use cases, commercial or strategic objectives, technical workstreams and delivery plans * Set landmarks, owners and timelines across GoDaddy and partner teams, identifying blockers early and escalating to executive, commercial, product or technical support for resolution * Establish transparent operating models and repeatable playbooks that move partners from initial engagement through proof of concept, integration and public launch * Develop strategic partnerships with technology, telecommunications, security, identity and infrastructure partners, serving as the main contact and building trusted relationships with executives and cross-functional teams * Lead executive meetings and partnership reviews, tailoring the ANS narrative to each partner's priorities, and represent GoDaddy at sector conferences, collaborative committees and leadership panels * Coordinate multiple technical and commercial workstreams across organisations with different priorities, decision processes and timelines * Work with product, engineering and partner collaborators to define use cases, agree technical requirements and coordinate proof of concept deployments * Support the open-standard ecosystem by engaging with the Linux Foundation and establishing relationships with developers, open-source contributors and standards leaders

What they are looking for

* 10+ years in strategic partnerships, business development or ecosystem development, owning sophisticated partnerships within a large global SaaS or technology organisation * Experience building platform partnerships, technical integrations or developer ecosystems with existing relationships across major cloud, software, telecommunications, security or infrastructure companies * Track record of taking partnerships from strategic discussion through technical validation and execution, with technical proficiency to work with product, engineering, security and identity teams * Executive presence and experience addressing and influencing C-level leaders, explaining sophisticated technical and strategic concepts clearly, and establishing accountability without direct organisational authority * Experience coordinating multiple workstreams across organisations with different priorities and decision processes * Familiarity with the Linux Foundation ecosystem and open-source governance models * Willingness to work in an emerging area where strategy, product and ecosystem are evolving together

* Experience in AI agents, identity, cybersecurity, trust infrastructure, domains, DNS, cloud infrastructure or developer platforms * Experience launching a new standard, platform, protocol or ecosystem initiative * Direct involvement with open-source foundations, industry consortia or technical standards bodies
