Early Head Start Home Educator

Position Description:

* Support and partner with parents on strengthening their involvement in their child’s learning, social/emotional and physical growth through an in-person weekly home visit. * Establish a positive, supportive, and reciprocal relationship with families and children. * Coordinate and attend bi-monthly (monthly) socializations that provide families opportunities for their child to maximize growth and development and enhance the parents’ ability to fill the role of primary nurturer of their child.

Job Prerequisites:

Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent. Valid Ohio Driver’s License. Parents as Teachers Certification, First Aid and CPR certification preferred or will be required within 6 months of hiring.

STARTING SALARY: $18.18/hour
