Senior Software Engineer – Developer Infrastructure & Agentic Tooling
As coding agents advance, the hardest problems in engineering are no longer writing code. They’re everything around it: context, environments, validation, testing, and safely integrating changes into production. Our client believes the next evolution of software engineering will come from systems where coding agents operate with deep awareness of the codebase, infrastructure, and development lifecycle.
They’re expanding their infrastructure team to build exactly that: environments where agents can understand full codebase context, execute development tasks end to end, and safely ship to production. The role spans developer tooling, infrastructure, and agent execution systems, and what you build will shape how software gets built across the company.
What you would do
* Monorepo organization, orchestration, and tooling
* CI/CD pipelines, including evaluation and validation of agent-generated changes
* Cloud dev environment exploration
* Exposing rich codebase context to coding agents, enabling multiple agents running in parallel and supporting automated refactors, migrations, and bug fixes
* Metrics, dashboards, and forums to keep a pulse on engineering health and where the team needs support

* Clean, maintainable code and a love of owning systems end to end
