About the role
We are seeking a competent Field Service Engineer with 3–4 years of hands-on experience in the electronics industry — SMT, PCB production tools, or product development environments. The role is responsible for installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and customer support for equipment deployed at customer sites, ensuring high uptime and customer satisfaction.

What you would do
* Install, commission, and calibrate equipment at customer sites in line with technical specifications. * Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance, diagnose faults, and carry out timely repairs. * Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers, ensuring minimal downtime. * Coordinate spare parts requirements, service documentation, and reporting with the service team. * Train customer operators/technicians on equipment usage, safety, and basic troubleshooting. * Liaise with product development and applications teams to escalate and resolve recurring technical issues. * Manage multiple service calls and customer sites efficiently, prioritising based on urgency and SLAs. * Maintain accurate service records, field reports, and customer feedback logs.
What they are looking for
* 3–4 years of relevant experience in the electronics industry — SMT, PCB production tools, or product development companies. * Good technical background — Diploma, BSc, or BE in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, or a related discipline. * Good spoken and written communication skills for effective customer interaction and reporting. * Good computer skills and comfort with service/ticketing software, MS Office, and technical documentation. * Strong multi-tasking ability with willingness to travel extensively for on-site customer support. * Must have experience in TRAINING and PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT.
* Prior experience working with semiconductor manufacturing process equipment.
