Senior Software Engineer (Ad Cloud Bidding)

Software engineers (Ad Cloud Bidding) at Appier Tokyo office build a wide range of platforms and services that interconnect data and AI with our customers and users. We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer with a strong focus on service operations to maintain and optimize our large-scale distributed systems. You will ensure our backend services run reliably and efficiently through automation, monitoring, and incident management.

* Manage system deployment, configuration, and release pipelines * Design and manage automated deployment pipelines to ensure smooth and reliable releases * Implement monitoring, alerting, and disaster recovery strategies * Troubleshoot production incidents and perform root cause analysis * Participate in on-call rotations and lead incident response when required * Continuously evaluate and adopt new tools or technologies to improve operational workflows

* BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related fields * 3+ years of experience in backend engineering or site reliability engineering * Familiar with Unix/Linux environments * Scripting or programming skills in Python, Go, or Bash * Experience in infrastructure-as-code tools * A proactive mindset toward automation and continuous improvement and strong sense of ownership * Proficiency in Chinese
